The Leave No Trace stand at the Outdoor Forum (28&29 October) gave us a chance to talk Leave No Trace with all sorts of folks involved in outdoor activity. Quite a few of them had heard of us before (I suspect Chris had something to do with that!), and were impressed to see progress.
A new banner helped to upgrade our image - and importantly, demonstrated that Leave No Trace is now working with the Department of Conservation. several DOC staff were involved in setting up and staffing the stand.
Several graduates of the Master Educator course were also in attendance, so a good opportunity to catch up and find out what they have been up to. The Leave No Trace message is getting out there and growing.
The very first part of an online LNT course was presented and created a buzz. We hope to have this available by the end of summer.
It is great to catch up with the LNT community and the wider outdoors sector.
